In our monthly group sessions, we'll explore an intuitive painting theme inspired by the creative energy of the month. Come with an open mind, without preset expectations for what your intuitive brushstrokes will create.

What is Intuitive Painting?
Intuitive painting is an opportunity to explore the inner self through the creative process in a safe, critic free environment. It is not a painting technique or method. Intentional Intuitive Painting is a process of blending intention and intuition. One makes a conscious decision to paint a subject, but the process is guided by intuition (example colors, lines, shapes, symbols, elements). Mediums used mainly includes crayons, acrylics, water colour pencils, water colour, acrylic inks, gouache, paper, marker pens, etc.
The play shops are for all painting levels. There is no prior painting experience necessary. Even if you have never painted or drawn in your life, the sessions will take you beyond your limitations and open you to your powerful creative self. We speak in symbol and metaphor every day whether we know it or not. The session will deepen your understanding of yourself through art.

The Session
In this 2.5-hour playshop, the agenda will be (but not limited to):
Intro, explanation, settle down to relax
Creative visualization at each interval of stages & setting intention
Start drawing & painting (you will be assisted if you need technicality guidance with the mediums that you're not familiar with)
A light refreshment break in between
Finish - sign & name your painting, taking ownership of your process
Show & share, conversations, celebrations & photo taking
