“This painting invoke feelings of Peace, Calm, Receive/Allow.
It is hung in my study room/meditation room.
It's a stark reminder for me to surrender and let go of control. I've always been afraid of what might happen if I lose control, and therefore I'm always trying too hard. Having the painting in my space reminds me that everything is okay and I'm taken care of. The black cat's tail extends into the ground, which reminds me of the importance of being grounded and connected to reality. The message sinks in that I don't need to try so hard all the time. I put in the work but I don't have a strong need to control the outcome now. I surrender and allow the results to take care of itself. If I should ever forget and want to control again, all I need to do is to look at this painting and be reminded.”
