Join intuitive, visionary artist Elaine Wong for the latest Intentional Intuitive Painting playshop and to hone our intuitive skills, and to cultivate inner expression through art.
Intuitive painting is an opportunity to explore the inner self through the creative process in a safe, critic free environment. It is not a painting technique or method. Intentional Intuitive Painting is a process of blending intention and intuition. One makes a conscious decision to paint a subject, but the process is guided by intuition (example colors, lines, shapes, symbols, elements).
By nature, we are creative & intuitive beings, capable of creating much more than we often believe. These playshop series are designed to harness the power of our creativity through our intention and the intuitive painting process. There will be different themes for each week, playing with different mediums.
In this 2-hour play shop, we will learn how to access our inner creative intelligence, and to bring it into our conscious playful, creative expression. At each session, different mediums and tools will be used and explored. We’ll use guided visualization, prayerful intention, and intuitive painting as expressive tools to translate our inner wisdom into color, shapes, symbols and form, expressed out through painting.
If you feel called upon the theme of the week, do not hesitate to embrace it by painting it. Your soul may be prompting you towards the embodiment of this value in your life. After the play shop is done, you'll get to take home a piece of meaningful little masterpiece (300gsm, 18x24cm acid free, cold press art paper) which you can frame, or display on your desk as a reminder of the painting's message.
The play shops are for all painting levels.There is no prior painting experience necessary. Even if you have never painted or drawn in your life, the sessions will take you beyond your limitations and open you to your powerful creative self. We speak in symbol and metaphor every day whether we know it or not. The sessions will deepen you into the journey of being the visionary storyteller and creator of your life.
